Occupational health and safety
Swedish Match is dedicated to provide a workplace that is free from health and safety hazards. In addition to mandatory safety training, the Group continuously strives to identify and address potential safety issues, to offer a wide range of wellness programs and to ensure that the workplace is ergonomically sound.
Many proactive measures are undertaken at Swedish Match workplaces to ensure proper facility safety and security, thereby protecting the employees. Health and safety committees and structure are in place in all manufacturing facilities to ensure a safe working environment. Potential safety issues are identified through regular facility audits conducted by AON.
