Meet the management

Lars Dahlgren is a young executive at a company he describes as "sufficiently large to be of interest but small enough for the work to be manageable." As CFO of Swedish Match, he is a member of senior management and oversees day-to-day operations of Group Finance & IT at the Corporate head office in Stockholm.

In addition to his 13 years at Swedish Match, Mats Adamson has an exciting background, with roots in Estonia and ten years as an officer in the Swedish Navy. At the beginning of 2007, he was appointed Senior Vice President Human Resources, Head of Group Human Resources and member of Group Management.

Patrik Andersson has solid experience of the fast moving consumer goods industry from such international groups as Barilla and Unilever. Patrik has been President of North Europe Division, in which snus is the predominant product category, since October 1, 2007 and he believes his main duties including further strengthening Swedish Matchs position as an innovative and dynamic consumer goods company.

Bo Aulin has for many years been both General Counsel and Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications at Swedish Match. "It´s been an unusual combination, but actually logical," he says, pointing out how important it is that anyone who represents a company operating in an international, controversial and rigorously legislated market should be really well versed in the law.

Henrik's most recent position was with Securitas AB in London where he was responsible for Investor Relations and Group External Communication. He also has many years of experience from Ericsson and the Swedish Armed Forces.

After 30 years with Swedish Match, Lennart Freeman refers to himself somewhat in jest as part of the furniture. Admittedly, he is a long-time company veteran, but his career can scarcely be described as stationary. Lennart has served as President of the North American Division since 1999 and a member of Group Management. And since 2005 he is also Executive Vice President of Swedish Match AB.

"Swedish snus is a product of the future with high potential for achieving success outside Sweden," says Lars Olof Löfman. With 20 years experience, Lars Olof can be called a snuff specialist. During these two decades, he has held leading positions within production, research and development and marketing of snuff for Swedish Match. Since 2007 Lars Olof is responsible for the corporate function Smokefree products. Prior to that he was President of North Europe Division and has been a member of Group Management since 2004.

Since Fredrik Peyrons arrival at Swedish Match in 2000, he has advanced from corporate lawyer to General Counsel, Senior Vice President Corporate Legal Affairs. It is in this capacity that Fredrik has been part of Group management since 2007, working on issues such as company acquisitions, negotiations, contracts and corporate governance matters.

Jarl Uggla is a man who thrives in new cultures, active environments and slightly chaotic situations. During his years at Swedish Match, he has had numerous opportunities to experience all this and much more, and even after 20 years in the company, he is still thriving and developing. Jarl has served as President of the International Division since 2005 and a member of Group Management since 2004.
