Financial development
For pipe tobacco, sales for the year amounted to 851 MSEK (899). Operating profit amounted to 201 MSEK (265) and the operating margin was 23.6 percent (29.5).
During 2007 operating profit was negatively affected by a consolidation of production and plant closure in South Africa, as well as by the decline in value of the South African rand versus the Swedish krona.
