Swedish Match operates in the three main product areas – Snus and snuff, Other tobacco products (cigars and chewing tobacco), and Lights (matches and lighters). Well known brands include General snus, Longhorn moist snuff, White Owl cigars, Red Man chewing tobacco, Fiat Lux matches, and Cricket lighters.
The Group sells products across the globe, with production units in six countries. More than a third of total company sales and more than half of the operating profit come from the product area Snus and snuff.

Swedish Match is well positioned as the third largest snus and moist snuff company. The Company also has a 50/50 joint venture with Philip Morris International to explore and develop new markets for snus outside of Scandinavia and the US. Production units are located in Sweden (snus) and the US (moist snuff).
Swedish Match is a major player in the US market for cigars, and the largest manufacturer in the US for chewing tobacco. Nearly all the products are sold exclusively on the US market. Production takes place in the US (cigars and chewing tobacco) and in the Dominican Republic (cigars).
Swedish Match is the market leader for matches in many markets throughout the world, with well known local brands. For lighters, the Cricket brand has strong market positions in a large number of countries, most notably in parts of Europe and Asia. Production of matches takes place in Sweden and Brazil, and of lighters in the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Brazil.
