Three Stars
Three Stars
Three Stars is a 120 year old, truly international brand, originating from the Jönköping Westra match factory in Sweden.
The brand Three Stars has been primarily an export brand, originally incorporating the name Jönköping in its package design to capitalize on the factory´s worldwide reputation for high quality matches.
Given the brand´s long heritage and widespread consumer loyalty, it is not surprising that the export version´s package design and color have changed very little over 120 years.
Solstickan
Solstickan
For the benefit of children and the elderly since 1936. The Solstickan boy is one of Sweden´s most well known symbols, and the logo for its best-known brand of matches.
In 1936, the Solstickan Foundation was created "to benefit children and the elderly." Its strategy was simple but ingenious: Raise money through the sale of matches, a cheap but essential product.
Swedish artist Einar Nerman created the now famous Solstickan boy, which helped make Solstickan Sweden´s best-known brand of matches. A portion of the revenue from all products in the Solstickan family still goes to the Solstickan Foundation to assist children and the elderly.
Redheads

Safe, high quality fire products. Famous for its red tipped, safety matches and extremely popular brand logo, Miss Redhead. All Redheads products are developed with personal and environmental safety foremost in mind.
Originally the logo for Redheads red tipped safety matches, Miss Redhead today is an Australian cultural icon and the subject of hundreds of caricatures and makeovers in annual contests sponsored by Redheads. Winning entries are featured on collectors´ series and commemorative theme matchboxes.
Brand extensions
Innovation and continuous product development are top priorities at Swedish Match. To adapt the product range to a growing demand for special matches and other related products, Swedish Match has launched several series of lights during recent years under some of the major brands. These series include high-quality products such as matches, grill and fire lighters and fire logs.
Grillbag
Solstickan grillbag
The Grillbag is an instant lighting 'barbecue-in-a bag'. The bag is placed, unopened, on the barbecue grill, and the corners of the bag are lit with a match. After about 30 minutes, the bag has burned away and the coals are glowing hot, ready for the cooking process to begin.
The new concept has been well received by our consumers. It is designed to give a safer, more reliable barbecue and is quick, completely clean and easy to use. The Grillbag contains specially treated, very high quality briquettes, which are proven to burn longer and more evenly than charcoal - giving an extended cooking time.
This exciting product increases our range of value added fire related products and it is now sold almost everywhere in Europe.
Firelog
Nitedals firelog
This Firelog has been designed to provide an instant open fire. The easy-to-light log has been made to the highest quality and safety standards. In use, this wax/wood composite log wrapped in a special paper is placed in a hearth, without unwrapping, and then the paper is ignited. The wrapper is an integral part of the product and serves as an ignition mechanism. After about 10 minutes, the wrapper has burned away, leaving a warm, welcoming log fire which will last for about 2 hours. It is quick to light, completely clean and easy to use. The log produces very little soot and hardly any residual ash. It is available in most European countries in single and 4 pack.

The strikeable Firestarters resemble matches in appearance - used in the same manner as a match, each Firestarter burns for about 15 minutes. Strike the Firestarter gently on the friction surface of the box, hold with the head slightly downwards for a few seconds and then place into your fuel. This product is suitable for homefires and barbecues. It is reliable, clean and odourless, and does not leave a kerosene residue on your fingers, as do the traditional 'white cube' firelighters. The Firestarters are made to the highest quality and safety standards using materials made from 40% wood from managed forests and 60% wax to give a natural and odourless fire. Each box contains 20 Firestarters and is available across Europe.
