Swedish Match products are produced, marketed and sold by the Company's five divisions: Smokefree, Scandinavia Sales, US Sales, Swedish Match International and Other Operations.

Smokefree Division
The Smokefree Division is responsible for the strategic and global processes in the smokefree business including Research & Development, supply chain, brand strategies and marketing, market research, strategic procurement and scientific affairs. The division’s focus is to develop common goals, work processes, tools and measurements for the global smokefree business. The Division will also focus on growth and category expansion in current markets and be the strategic partner to SMPM International for expansion into new markets. Scandinavia Sales Division
The Scandinavia Sales Division is responsible for sales and trade marketing in Sweden, Norway and Duty-Free. The Division’s focus is on growing the smokefree category as well as our share through best practice sales processes, value building customer relations and trade marketing activities in Scandinavia. US Sales Division
The US Sales Division is responsible for sales and trade marketing for snuff and snus in the US. They are also responsible for sales and all marketing of chewing tobacco and mass market cigars in the US. The Division’s focus is on the sales process, trade category management and go-to-market strategies in order to secure quality distribution and expand the share of market for moist snuff and help building the Swedish Snus category in the US. Swedish Match International
Swedish Match International manufactures and markets premium cigars primarily for the US market and machine-made cigars for the European and the International market, as well as matches and lighters in Continental Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia. Swedish Match has a leading position in the US market for premium cigars and is the one of the world’s largest producers and distributors of machine-made cigars and cigarillos (excluding the US market). The Company has a strong position in a number of local markets for matches as well as the international market for disposable lighters. Other Operations
The Other Operations unit distributes tobacco products in the Swedish market. Distribution takes place from two facilities (Stockholm and Gothenburg) to around 12,000 stores, which enables, in principle, complete coverage of the Swedish retail sector. All the major players in the market are customers, which gives the distribution company a strong position in the tobacco segment. Responsibility for coordinating the activities of SMPM International with other operations within Swedish Match has been assigned to Other Operations. The head office is located in Stockholm.
