Silver medal for the website

In Webranking 2002 comes in second. We spend much energy on improving and further developing the website, so this is truly gratifying, says Annette Kaunitz, responsible for the website.

Swedish Match is now rewarded for their efforts. We have the second best website in the Nordic countries. Thanks to intense work we have succeeded in creating a website that meets the high demands from the capital market - and more.

Web council meets the capital market's demands
A great deal is demanded of corporate websites. Every year, Webranking 2002 is complemented in accordance with new trends and demands from the capital market. Therefore, a website must never cease to develop, but has to be continuously updated and maintained. Swedish Match's web council works on a continuous basis to meet analysts, shareholders and financial journalists expectations on the content of information.

Financial web communication high priority
One of the key success factors is to be keenly aware of changes in the surrounding world and new trends within financial web communication. Other contributing factors are the management's high prioritization of financial web communication, our highly competent web council as well as qualitative web consulting. We also have a clearly defined target group and clear objectives in regard to the website. We do the right things and we do them right. It is tremendously gratifying to come second best this year. Swedish Match had the eleventh place in 2000, the fourth place in 2001, and now this year we have finally reached the winners’ stand, says Annette Kaunitz.

The results of the ranking were published in the Swedish weekly business magazine Veckans Affär on 28 October 2002.
